Today our world is a cauldron of violence - reflected in our art, music, movies, dance, education, homes, professions, sport, everywhere ......

AHIMSA is from Sanskrit .... a word that changed the CONCEPT OF POLITICAL REVOLUTION. Gandhi the Messiah of Peace used the word AHIMSA to get freedom for his people WITHOUT VIOLENCE.

There is more to NON VIOLENCE than the political context. All our thoughts and actions are steeped in VIOLENCE.... sometimes very subtle.

When we DRILL A HOLE in the ground to get water it is a VIOLENT ACT ....When we MILK A COW it is VIOLENT..... when we HARVEST a field of corn it is an ACT OF VIOLENCE!
